blessed little furry four legged companion
friend and protector of Chez C3 and family
We remember you, young and strong
full of vigor and mischief
taken with your handsome self
posing in the sunshine
We remember, you curled up and purring
peering at us from the computer screen
thinking it just the right warmth
and a thoughtful napping spot away from family distractions
We remember you, Oscar
And we miss you
We mourn a bit to remember this day
the day, one year ago, you had to leave us
to cross the Rainbow Bridge
We expect by now you have found
another warm spot
just right for napping
and viewing the world
from the Oscar vantage point.
We remember you, furry friend,
and we miss you.
Our hearts still warm from where you curled there,
not just once, but for always.
