As we gather this morning to break bread, we are blessed.
Our sense of
community and feeling of love binds us together like a beautiful
patchwork quilt we are each piece is unique and he sensual.
May this
food nourish and strengthen us body and soul so that we may work
together to stitch a beautiful quilt of love, a Sukkot shalom--a canopy of
peace-- here on
earth. It's never been needed more then it is now.
So as we gather, we
count our blessings, and we are grateful for all the goodness that
surrounds our lives. We realize on a more deep level that it is pleasing
and right to break bread and give thanks together.
Blessed are we.
